I love the lighting, positioning, and textures in this scene. The layers of the books and papers and wall patterns and wood. The stances of Sherlock and John: solid and inquisitive vs. strong and bullish. The framing of John in the mirror, surrounded by all of Sherlock’s puzzle pieces. The cinematography in this series just astounds me.
